Cell biological research forms a core element in the Nijmegen Science School "Institute for Cellular Signalling" (ICS), a graduate school of the University. Participating research groups are hosted by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the University Medical Center (UMC; including the Faculty of Medical Sciences and the University Hospital Nijmegen St. Radboud). Together with other research groups the cell biology group is housed in a new research building on the university campus, the Nijmegen Center for Molecular Life Sciences (NCMLS). The NCMLS offers a challenging and forward looking portfolio of research and higher degree opportunities for (Ph.D.) students and post-docs.
