During the Annual Symposium of the Orthopedic Research Society (ORS) in San Francisco Dennis Remst of the department of Rheumatology has won the New Investigators Recognition Award (NIRA)for his abstract and presentation entitled "Elevated Lysyl hydroxylase 2b expression during experimental OA; the potential cause of persistent synovial fibrosis" byDennis Remst, Esmeralda Blaney Davidson, Elly Vitters, Ruud Bank, Wim van den Berg and Peter van der Kraan. This price was awarded to Dennis based on the quality of his abstract, and his oral and poster presentation. This price was sponsored by the American Geriatrics Society.
